  i asked if the new britain branch construction had stopped, and i was told that "the governing body instructed us to cease all work on the project.".

  World Wide Construction comes to a Shuddering Halt - Jehovah's Blessing has Evidently been Suspended!

  the chelmsford project in the uk has already come to a halt and every one has been sent home.

  the bethel family in london is to be cut by several hundred.

  my impression is that most ambitious youngster in the org dream of being involved with the building program.

  here is my impression.. the watchtower is becoming more and more geared towards idiots.

  the midweek meeting has a stupid name, and the parts sound equally dumb.

  I had a powerful "experience" too you know, I believed it was real and happened all my life, ..... until i could be bothered to do actual research into the brain and how it works and then it clicked, oops, dream phase, all in my mind, never actually happened.

  How embarrassing, I'd told quite a few people over the years my "experience" and here it was, it never happened, it was my mind playing tricks on me.

  jws feel that their strength lies in the power of bible to foretell.

  however, an impartial analysis would show that bibles prophecies are too general, and yet some of the major developments in the world scene were not figured in its propheciesespecially those that are very much needed for what it calls last days.

  Elusive happiness teaches a hidden truth!

  many seek happiness externally and many a time assign others the possession of their happiness.

  when they derive a sort of happiness from external sources, they dont feel satisfied, hence jump to the next and then to the next .... in contrast, jesus said gods kingdom (or real happiness) is within (entos) you.

  this cannot be misinterpreted as jesus being the king of the kingdom was amidst them as jws do.
